These modules are removed from multiple electric vehicles that were involved in accidents resulting in frame damage. The cars were written off by insurance companies, while the battery modules themselves sustained no damage and are fully intact. All of these written-off EVs use this exact same BYD battery module design.

Available Module Types.

You’ll find these modules in 4S, 8S, 10S and 12S configurations. The reason for all these different sizes is simple: EV battery packs are made up of many individual modules that need to fit perfectly underneath the car’s chassis. They have to work around the car’s varying widths, heights, raised sections, dips and seating areas to match the vehicle’s underbody framework. That’s why we see this range of module sizes.

We also move steady quantities of the 12S = 36V, predominantly used for electric trolling motors on larger fishing boats and similar setups.

- Factory laser-welded series connections, original BYD housing — zero modifications done.

- On the modules you’ll see two aluminum tubes sticking out. These are just the EV liquid cooling inlet/outlet, ignore them completely for all DIY projects.

- Heavy-duty bolt-on solid positive/negative main terminals for easy wiring termination

- Every single cell has riveted nickel-plated tabs, perfect for soldering BMS sense wires and active balance leads.

- For moving applications such as boats, electric vehicles or golf carts: You can easily build custom mounts and housings to suit your space.

We test every full module as a complete unit, to confirm and guarantee the capacity and overall health of all cells across the pack.

- After testing modules from available EVs, this batch actual tested capacity sits between 304 Ah and 309 Ah (we have only filtered/ picked these high capacity cells, rejecting lower capacities EVs)

- We round this down and guarantee a minimum capacity of 300 Ah per module

- All cells perfectly balanced, excellent low internal resistance
